Catching Up

Ok so I havent been keeping up with this like I should and Im going to do better, promise lol. Everything has been good here in Oklahoma, We had a major ice storm hit couple months ago and we were without power for a week, Mom and Robin were out longer. Ill post some pics of it. We bailed out the day after it and went to Madill for the weekend since no one had heat or electricity, came back home and we were still without, it was freezing!!!! Now we are still trying to clean up all the down tree limbs, its a slow process but Sam and one of his buddies is working on the weekends and in the evening after he gets off work. The ice storm took out our antenna so we moved up in the world and finally got a satelite. Woo hoo now I can keep up with my shows.

My birthday was last month. It was a good one. Sam bought me a necklace with matching earings. He's the best ever! He had to work Valentines day but when he came home he brought with him a dozen red roses w/ a dozen carnations mixed in. I should of took a picture but I didnt think of it. Now we are on the hunt for a new car for myself. We have been looking for the past 2 weeks but I havent found anything I like. So the search is still on.

Had to sneak this one of Sam...he's not into letting me take pictures of him lol he was watching something on tv that made him laugh, so I thought what the hay and snapped away...he was frowning afterward.

Wow, it's been a minute since I've posted on my blog so here goes...

At the end of April I had surgery to remove a MRSA abcess on my stomach, let me tell ya it hurt and it has taken forever to heal completely. On June 17th I had another abcess come up that tested positive for MRSA again and had that removed also. This one is a little bit more tender since its in an uncomfortable place, but the dr. put me on a stronger antibiotic so it should take care of the MRSA and I wont have to have surgery again...well thats the plan...

I hate being sick

I really hate being sick!! For my birthday everyone was going to come up and help me celebrate turning the BIG 3 0 but as it turns out I was sick so I had to cancel and try to get well. So I start feeling better and I think Im over what I have but.. the jokes on me and Im sick yet again. I went to the Dr. today and find out that I have the flu and a bacterial virus and I really feel like Im dying. Sooo I get to stay home from work til I have gone 24 hours w/o a fever. So far its not happening. Hopefully Ill be better soon.

Today My mom, my sister Robin and I went to Texas to help celebrate my cousin Karen's son's 1st birthday and to hang out with everyone. Sam didnt get to go down since he was sick with the flu (which I gave him). Here's some pictures from the party....
